Antony le Fleming. A person with glasses smiling outdoors

After a musically orientated education, I ended up as organ scholar of Queens’ College Cambridge. Subsequently, I pursued a long and varied career in playing, composing, teaching and conducting, principally among young people and amateurs. Spreading the benefits and joy of music has been has been my driving force. Choral music is the mainspring of my composition : further details may be found online at ‘Antony le Fleming – Impulse Music’.

I am married to the charismatic cellist and painter, Naomi Butterworth, with whom I share a large, extended family. Individual musical portraits of the fourteen grandchildren are depicted in my piano collection ‘New Generation’.

During musical pauses I particularly enjoy English literature, cricket, France and golden retrievers.
